Monaka

Monaka is sweet beans paste in wafers, one of Japanse sweets.Today, I ate Monaka made by Konoe Tousai. It was big and tasty!! I love it! I'd like to eat again.

最中は、ウエハースに小豆の餡が入った和菓子のひとつです。今日、近江藤斎の最中を食べました!大きくて美味しい!好みの味!また食べたい。

Dear Marie,

This is Hyun from Cool Hunt, Inc., an editorial agency that works with international magazines to produces contents around the world. One of our clients, SELF China, has recently requested us to feature stylish daughter-mother couples from six different cities in Asia, including Tokyo, Seoul and Mumbai. This feature will focus on how a daughter would make her mother over. I recently had an opportunity to visit your blog and would like to ask for your help with finding a good fit for the feature. Of course, if you consider yourself to be a good fit for the story, please let me know.

Our criteria of selection are:

1) A daughter must be involved in a fashion-related industry (i.e., fashion blogger, editor, make-up artist, stylist, journalist, model, designer, etc)

2) Both a daughter and her mother have to live in Tokyo (if either one of them does not live in Tokyo, will she be able to come to Tokyo for a photo-shoot in the near future?)

3) They must have a special story to share about their daughter-mother relationship.

An interview will be conducted via e-mail. A photo-shoot will be taken of both of them. Some before & after shots of her mother will be taken as well in order to show how she would stylise and transform her mother's appearance. If you find anyone who would be a good fit for the story, I would be more than happy to have her contact information, especially her e-mail address. Also, it would be great if you can tell her to send me her and her mother's full name, age, occupation, and sample photographs? Sample photographs do not have to be formal or refined.

If you have any enquiries regarding the feature, magazine and/or company, please do not hesitate to contact me at coolhunt.hyun@gmail.com. I truly appreciate your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Hyun Lee
